Simone Biles

Simone Biles, American gymnast (born 14 March 1997 in Columbus Ohio U.S.), was considered as the best athlete in sport. At the 2016 Olympics held in Rio de Janeiro she became the first female U.S. gymnast to win four gold medals in the same Games and was also the first gymnast to earn three consecutive World All-around championships (2013-15). Biles together with her sister Adria Biles and Ronald Biles were adopted as young children by grandparents of Houston. Simone was introduced to the sport of gymnastics through her daycare instructor Aimee Borman at just six years old. She stayed at Bannon's Gymnastix for 11 years. Biles won a gold in the floor and bronze in vault during the Women's Junior Olympic National Championships in 2010 before breaking into the elite gymnastics in the year 2011. Within two years she had dominated this event. Biles made headlines because of her unstoppable performance enthusiastic attitude as well as the amount of difficulty that she included in each event--vault bar, uneven bars, balance beam and ground work.
